I recently stayed at The Boxer in Boston for 3 days. The hotel was a pleasant surprise with its clean, modern rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The location was perfect for me, just 2 blocks from TD Garden and within walking distance of Little Italy and Quincy Market. I also loved the free bike rental and the nice design and atmosphere of the hotel. a great experience.

Don't forget to check out Mike's Pastry nearby for the best coffee ever and it's also conveniently close to TD Garden, plus the free Wi-Fi in all rooms is awesome.

Top floor room with wrap around windows and curtains that let in sunlight. Huge shower and modern bathroom. Convenient location for subway access, attractions, and restaurants. Spotless room and fluffy bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Immaculate premises. Central location with a nice restaurant and bar attached. Spacious room with good coffee and mini bar. Lack of temperature control was a drawback. well decorated, clean, and good service.

We loved the really comfortable bed and the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel was clean and had pleasant common areas. Its location was perfect for sightseeing all around Boston, being within walking distance of Little Italy with many great restaurants and close to Quincy Market. It was also so close to TD Garden and everything we needed. The transportation was easily accessible with T stations nearby.
There was nothing we didn't like.

The location of the hotel was ideal for our Christmas trip. It was close to all the main attractions and public transport, making it easy to get around the city. We also appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
There were a few issues that dampened our experience. Firstly, the room was quite small and cramped, making it difficult for us to move around comfortably.

I loved the personal touch of the small size and the daily apples for guests. The staff, especially Karena at the front desk, made me feel like a VIP with a free room upgrade. The location was perfect for exploring historic Boston and attending events at TD Garden.
No complaints.

Hotel and Valet staff very friendly, helpful and accomodating.
They could improve on their choice of bath soap (didn't lather very well). Tv / Remote dated. No pen and paper in the room to use. The advertised Wi-Fi availability, making it sound as if it was hotel wide..when in fact it was only availble in the lobby and restaurant!

On arrival our room was absolutely filthy and run down. for example. Blood stained bedding, soiled carpets, furniture damaged and sub standard, bathroom tiles and shower area covered in mould. bathroom sink surround cracked, windows filthy. After complaining we were relocated to another room which was basically of the same standard. The room was also dirty and run down. Bed bugs appeared to be present as both myself and partner had numerous insect bites each morning. Damaged walls had temporary repairs which had been filled but unpainted. Sliding bathroom door would not lock. No storage space, poor lighting and dangerous which resulted in partner tripping and splitting lip. We looked into changing hotel but unfortunately all hotels in the surrounding area were fully booked. With no other option we had to endure 4 nights in this sad excuse for a hotel. The Hotel was of such poor quality it completely ruined my stay in Boston. I am happy to provide picture of the above problems and would welcome a response.
